On Saturday, June 19th, 2021, we (members of Charlton & Thompson The Bronx Chapter of NABVETS #0029) are so excited to be honoring our 80+ years old veterans who have served the Bronx community and our country. It just so happens to fall on the first national recognized holiday of Juneteenth, also known in the African American community as Freedom Day – commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. If you’re interested, come to our NYC Park. YES, we have a park known as Charlton & Thompson Garden Playground located at 589 E.164th Street, Bronx, NY off of Boston Road.
